我是不是成了Google免费的推广专员？自从在家用电脑上爆出自己还有300多个Gmail邀请的信息后，短短几周时间内，已经发送出去了将近400个邀请。当然，这也要感谢Google的慷慨，每当所送的50个名额发送完毕后，第二天Google就会重新再给50个，甚至有次给了100个，而我却有6个Gmail邮箱。
不过，再多的邀请这样下去也有用完之时（thinkjam@gmail.com邮箱的邀请已经送完，并且这次Google并没有再给新的名额），因此希望有邀请的朋友也参与到活动中来，在 这里 交换您的Gmail邀请。
值得注意的是，申请Gmail邀请的朋友请不要使用新浪（sina.com）的邮箱，此邮箱不仅收不到Gmail发出的邮件，连cbigroup.com发出的邮件也被拒绝，阻碍了我们的沟通。另外，收到邀请信的朋友，直接点击邀请信中的链接，便可以注册Gmail了。
当然，除了论坛中的邀请专用贴，朋友们还可以给我 tigerqiu@cbigroup.com 的邮箱发信索取，直到我弹尽粮绝的一天。
真快！早上刚看到Google Talk将要推出的消息，并用Gaim连上Google Talk的Jabber服务器，Google Talk的客户端就正式上线了。
怎么说呢，Google的UI设计真是有一套，简洁、干净、漂亮、舒适、易用……，这时刻用所有好的形容词形容Google Talk都不为过，唯一的缺点是功能太少，仅仅支持两个人的文字和语音聊天，不支持群聊，也没有传送文件等附加功能。通过跟老虎邱语音，发现其语音的清晰度与Skype不相上下，但稳定性可能更胜一筹，在资源占用上也比Skype少上许多，系统内存占用不到10M。

前几天刚刚将Gmail邀请名额与大家分享，今天又收到了加入Google的Orkut的邀请，在这里多谢发出邀请的Yas Woo同学，正是他才使我有机会加入这个Google将要建立的巨大网上社区。

Google May Be Building IM Product

(Article Central) Recent speculation on discussion boards and blogs indicates that search giant Google may be developing an instant messaging initiative. IM would enable Google to complete a communication platform that includes Gmail (its webmail system) and Orkut (its community networking portal).
There has also been speculation that Google's IM platform and client would be based on the open source Jabber protocol, as previously reported by InstantMessagingPlanet.
Representatives at Google have yet to either confirm or deny the rumor. However, Peter Saint-Andre, executive director of the JSF, told InstantMessagingPlanet.com that the JSF always welcomes implementations and deployments of the Jabber protocols, which is also known as the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol.
He also mentioned that many high-profile companies such as IBM, HP, SUN and Oracle have already adopted Jabber/XMPP technologies, though he believes the Google adoption would have a different sort of impact.
以Google的影响力，IM软件也许会赢得大量的用户群，反正俺肯定是其中之一，不知道Google能够奖励一下我们这些忠实的拥趸，想像ing。。。
